We sell cloth on trust, and that includes being straight about your information — what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
Only what's needed
A name and phone number when you enquire or order. Nothing more to browse.
Photos never stored
AI try-on and measurement photos are processed once for your preview and never saved.
Never sold
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever.
The information you give us
- Enquiries & orders: when you enquire about a fabric, add to an order, or book a showroom visit, we record your name, phone number, and the details of the cloth you asked about — so we can confirm stock, length and price with you on WhatsApp.
- AI try-on & measurements: photos you upload are sent securely to our AI processor to generate your preview or measurement card, then discarded. We do not store your photos.
- AI stylist questions: the questions you ask our stylist are logged (without any account or profile) so we can improve the catalogue and advice.
- On your device: your cart, shortlist and preferences are kept in your own browser's storage — they stay on your device.
You can browse the entire site without creating an account — we don't have accounts.
Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiry, confirm and fulfil your order, and arrange delivery.
- To generate the AI preview or measurement card you asked for.
- To keep proper business and tax records (GST invoices).
- To understand which cloths people ask about, so the catalogue improves.
Service providers we rely on
A small set of processors help us run the site, each receiving only what's needed: our database and image host (Supabase), our web host (Vercel), Google's AI services (which process try-on, measurement and stylist requests), and WhatsApp when you choose to message us. Standard, privacy-respecting technical logs may be processed by our hosting provider to keep the site running and secure.
Access, correction & deletion
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just message us on WhatsApp or email niteshmittal@mittalandsons.ai — we'll act on it promptly. Enquiry and order records needed for tax and accounting are retained for the period the law requires.
