Authorised since 1977, bought directly from Raymond — and from the Italian mills themselves.
Yes. Mittal & Sons has been an authorised Raymond fabric house since 1977; every metre of Raymond cloth we sell is bought directly from Raymond and billed with a GST invoice. You can confirm it yourself from the selvedge, the Raymond tag with its quality number, and the bill — and the same is true of the Italian mills we keep (Borelli, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico), bought directly from the mills and sold in retail only.
Borelli, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico are on our shelf since 2021, every bunch bought directly from the company — because counterfeit Italian cloth is common in the market. They are retail only: cut by the metre for you, tailored here if you want it made. There is no wholesale of Italian fabrics. Raymond, by contrast, we sell both wholesale and retail.
At the counter we show you the selvedge, the tag and the bill before you pay. Online, every cloth page prints the composition as the mill states it, and the picture is the real cloth from our shop.
Yes. Authorised Raymond fabric house since 1977, 123 Raymond designs online today, all bought directly from Raymond and billed with GST.
Four checks: the woven selvedge carries the Raymond name; every piece carries Raymond's own tag with the quality number; the bill is a GST invoice from an authorised dealer; and the price is Raymond's price band, not a bargain that is too good. At the counter we show you all four before you pay.
Yes. Borelli, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico are bought directly from the mills and kept on our shelf. We show you the selvedge and the mill mark in store. Where we cannot name a mill, we say “imported” and leave it at that.
No. Italian fabrics are sold in retail only — by the metre, to the customer, from our own stock. There is no wholesale of Italian fabrics. Raymond is sold both wholesale and retail.
Because the name sells. Cloth printed with an Italian-sounding selvedge is woven elsewhere and sold at Italian prices. Our rule is simple: we name a mill only when we bought from that mill, and we print 'price on request' rather than invent a figure.
No. Raymond is India's own suiting mill, weaving since 1925 at Thane and Chhindwara, and one of the largest worsted-suiting makers in the world. The Italian cloth on our shelf is from the Italian mills themselves, kept alongside Raymond.
