Genuine Italian-mill cloth — chosen in person.
“Italian” is the most over-used word in the fabric trade — plenty of sellers label ordinary cloth as Italian. We’d rather be straight with you.
We keep a select reserve of genuine Italian-mill cloth in-store, shown as “price on request” — because the finest pieces are best chosen by hand and feel. For premium imported brands, see our Imported collection.
How to tell real Italian from rebranded. Truly Italian fabric names its mill (Vitale Barberis Canonico, Reda, Cerruti and the like) and its yarn origin. If a seller can’t name the mill, treat “Italian” as a marketing word — ask us, and we’ll show you exactly what you’re buying.
