Why this cloth
Dormeuil is a Paris house with English cloth in its blood, and the one name on our shelf that is neither Italian nor Indian. The cloth we chose is the one every tailor wants first: a plain 100% worsted wool in navy, charcoal, black and the shades between. Plain is the hardest cloth to hide anything in, which is why a good plain is where a mill’s finishing shows.

Every Dormeuil length here is bought directly from the company, with the house’s selvedge on the cloth. We will unroll the bolt and show it to you before you buy.
